On Saturday September 15th over 15 troop 54 scouts completed their aviation merit badge with the Young Eagles EEA chapter in Long Beach. We learned about all the controls and how to fly a small single engine aircraft. The most exiting part was that we all got to go up in an aircraft and some of us actually got to fly the aircraft. A few of the scouts got to fly a helicopter. It was awesome.
