Get ready Scouts!! Mt. Whitney 7/24 to 8/3, and 40+ miles of backpacking. In order to prepare you need to get ready by going on the other backpacks and outings. Queen Mtn. GPS, Catalina 50 mi., White Mtn 14,000 ft., Telescope Pk 11,000 ft., Santiago Pk 15 mi hike, Skyline 20 mi., Palisades Glacier hikes, San Gorgonio 15 mi. hike and more. Have fun and plan ahead. THANK YOU !!!! To Mr. Born & Mr. Binnings, Mrs. Shasha, Mrs. Montoroso, the Instructors and everyone else for putting in so much time in getting the counselors organized, food bought and prepped teaching the classes. Watching the rooms, etc. for Troop 54’s second Merit Badge Day. We had a total of approximately 57 scouts. And approximately 114 merit badges awarded, with some partials this past Saturday.
As long as you scouts continue to take advantage of the merit badge day we will continue to hold them…… Who knows, Maybe MBD III will be just around the corner….????
