Troop 54 helps serve Thanksgiving meal to the homeless and less fortunate from our surrounding communities. Our troop will assist in food preparation, serving, clean-up and other restaurant related duties. Meals served last year were over 900. Troop will work along side other youth groups, LASD, and local officials from various city and state agencies. Organizers are requesting scouts for morning shift to arrive @ 9:00AM and 2nd shift, 12Noon. (Please arrive on time). Come in Class “A” uniform (no hat), no playing around and a ready to work attitude. Service hours will be awarded to those who actively participate. If you are this scout, contact me and sign-up or at the next troop meeting. When you contact me, indicate which shift you prefer and if open, I will place you there.
